Trauma Informed Yoga

Trauma informed yoga is a holistic approach to creating a safe supportive space in which students can create emotional regulation through mindful movements and breath awareness. This helps with dissociative disorders and patterns that are often linked to traumatic life experiences. We work with activating the parasympathetic nervous system to train the body to know when it is safe to get out of that flight or flight response that trauma can get us stuck in. This helps rewire the brain and rebuild trust with the body's natural coping responses.

Mindful Hormone Cycle Support

Most people who menstruate are taught that it is a burden. We don't pay much attention to the ebbs and flows of our hormones throughout the month and then dread our periods but the period is only one part of our menstrual cycle. Without much awareness to how this cycle is effecting us day to day life can be challenging. When we learn how to align our life's with our cycles instead of trying to force our life's to go against our natural rhythms life can be much smoother, more enjoyable, productive, fulfilling, and impactful.
